I Phone Accelerometer Technology
I Phone is a breakthrough in mobile Industry. Besides boosting of other state-of- art technologies like 3G, GPS mapping and HTML coded, desktop level web and email support, I phone carves a niche in mobile universe using the accelerometer technology that senses motion and adjusts the screen in such a way that you get the best possible view. Consider an example, if you were holding a phone vertically and viewing a webpage, the screen had a vertical view, right? Now, when you rotate the phone, using the accelerometer technology, the phone detects the movement and consequently changes the display to fit the screen. This makes viewing and browsing websites a far superior experience than it previously was. The device inside iPhone makes use of three components: a silicon mass, a set of silicon springs, and an electrical current. The springs measure the position of the silicon mass using the electrical current. Rotating an iPhone causes a fluctuation in the electrical current passing through the silicon springs. The accelerometer registers these fluctuations and tells iPhone to adjust the display accordingly. This technology adds to the gaming edge that the I phone provides as many more gaming application like golf, Planks and Call of Duty become far more real.
To summarize, Accelerometer technology gives an edge to Apple I Phone through enhancing customer experience by improving the appearance and enhancing the quality of web exposure, it gives an edge to video playback and also makes gaming more real.
